Montpelier Motor Speedway Releases 2012
Schedule
With the tentative release of 2012 schedule, race fans and teams will
find a full slate of racing events at the speedway for 2012. The
speedway will host 30 events during 2012 including the return of
marquee events such as the Early Season Shootout, Double Header
Classic, Late Season Shootout, and 6th Annual Monster Mash.
Also, signed on to join the 2012 schedule will be the new Midget
division, USAC Ford Focus Midgets, UMRA TQ Midgets, MMSA Mini Sprints,
and AMSA Mini Sprints. Dates are
subject to changes or possible additions.

Track Champions, Top 10
In Points and Rookies of the Year With Trophies, Jackets, and Prize
Money Totaling More Than $10,000
The 2011 season concluded with a formal banquet held at the brand new
Montpelier Civic Center to honor and show appreciation for the 2011
Track Champions, Top 10 in Each Division, and the Rookies of the Year
on November 12.
Trophies, Montpelier Motor Speedway Jackets for Track Champions and
Rookies of the Years, and a 2011 Points Payout totaling more than
$10,000 was distributed to drivers. The new Championship points
payout was a first for the speedway and was an off-season project,
Harold and Lori Hunter, undertook to honor a minimum of 40 drivers who
competed at the speedway in 2011.
